👩🏻💻 What I’ve developed
I’m so happy that I managed to implement a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipeline from scratch and applied it to searching info from Stardew Valley Wiki: scrape → process/chunk → embed → index 2k+ wiki pages for multiple vector database solutions (ChromaDB, AWS S3 Vector, Cloudflare Vectorize).

I chose Cloudflare Vectorize eventually as the production database for its serverless feature and low cost. After the database is set up, I developed and released a web app - Ask Stardew Valley for querying Stardew Valley Wiki with RAG-based retrieval. The app is hosted servelessly on the Cloudflare Edge using Workers, Vectorize, and KV, scaling vector search to 10k+ embeddings with sub-100ms query latency and persistent feedback storage.
🌐 Digital Life
Outside of direct coding, I’m:
- Strenthening my System Design knowledge.
- Getting familiar with Obsidian for maintaining my study notes.
- Practicing Leetcode for survival.
- Working and chatting with AI.
🌃 Offline Adventures
- A Furry Visitor 🐕: I’m thrilled that a friend’s Shiba Inu will be staying with me over Thanksgiving. As a lifelong dog person, this will be my first time having full responsibility for a pup, and I’m incredibly excited for the new experience.
- Reading Milestone: I’ve just finished the 22nd book of my reading year.
